Waterproof tarpaulins produced by manufacturers are generally divided into two types: coarse tarpaulins and fine tarpaulins. The warp and weft yarns of fine tarpaulins are used to make labor protection clothing and supplies. After dyeing, they can also be used as fabrics for shoes, travel bags, backpacks, etc. There are many raw materials for tarpaulins. Coarse tarpaulins are also called tarpaulin covers. The fabric is strong and foldable, and has good waterproof properties. It is used for covering automobile transportation and open-air warehouses, as well as setting up tents in the wild. The rainproof tarpaulins and South Korean tarpaulins produced by our company belong to the category of coarse tarpaulins. They are widely used in ports, docks, transportation and other industrial and agricultural factories and mines. In addition, there are rubber tarpaulins, fireproof and radiation-proof tarpaulins, shielding tarpaulins, tarpaulins for papermaking machines, etc.
Types and uses of waterproof tarpaulins
1. Five common types of waterproof tarpaulins
1. Dome-shaped waterproof tarpaulins (also known as yurts): double-pole cross-supported, easy to disassemble and assemble, and are currently popular styles on the market.
2. Hexagonal waterproof tarpaulin: It adopts three or four cross-pole support, and some adopt six-pole design, focusing on the stability of the waterproof tarpaulin. It is a common style of "alpine" waterproof tarpaulin.
3. Triangular waterproof tarpaulin: The front and back use herringbone iron pipes as supports, and a horizontal bar is connected in the middle. The inner tent is supported and the outer tent is installed. This is a common waterproof tarpaulin style in the early days.
4. Boat bottom waterproof tarpaulin: After being supported, it looks like a small boat turned upside down. It can be divided into two poles and three poles. The middle is generally a bedroom and the two ends are halls. The design focuses on windproof streamlines. It is also one of the common waterproof tarpaulin styles.
5. Ridge waterproof tarpaulin: It looks like an independent small tile house. The support is usually four pillars at the four corners, and a ridge-shaped structural roof is placed on it. This kind of waterproof tarpaulin is generally tall and heavy. It is suitable for drivers or relatively fixed outdoor operations and camping, so it is called vehicle-mounted waterproof tarpaulin.
When the tarpaulin falls off, the goods are easily blown off by strong winds or soaked by rain, causing loss of goods and increasing the amount of insurance compensation. In addition, the falling of the tarpaulin also provides an opportunity for cargo thieves to take advantage of it. It threatens the transportation safety of the road. If the tarpaulin of the truck falls off during the journey, it is easy to cause accidents such as scratching railway driving equipment and injuring pedestrians.
